MIDNIGHT TRAIN James Gordon is on his way home when his train is hijacked by a gang called the Tranz-It Authority. Gordon and Huntress work together to take out the gangsters car by car before Batman arrives. TOMORROW BELONGS TO US Inside juvie, Lonnie Machin lectures a group of boys on the corrupt system they live under. The boys realize that Lonnie was only a hologram right while Anarky hides rather than face Batman, who is swinging overhead, and Lonnie slinks back into juvie as the guard finds the boys up after curfew. He reveals to the other boys that he altered the campaign poster of billionaire Peter Porter to read "Power corrupts! Don't vote!" DEATH MASK Bank robber Conlan Seale dies when he is shot by a security guard, and the black mask he wore is found and discarded by a series of people who, while wearing it, are inspired to commit acts of cruelty before it eventually falls into Seale's grave.
